Originally hailing from Marietta, OH, Chad Eddy began his education at Ohio University studying Theater and Mass Media. After four years of college and a strong love for film making, he ventured to Troy, MI to attend the film program at the Motion Picture Institute. Completing the program at the top of his class, Chad wrote and directed the dramatic short film, Anything is Everything, which won the third place audience award at the 2006 MPI film festival.
After developing his voice for narrative film-making, Chad endured the pressure of independent production and started the Michigan production company, Tryptonaut Pictures, LLC. In under a week, he and a small crew of six shot the 35mm dramatic short film, Muah.
While Muah acted as a gateway to numerous opportunities, Chad was hard at work completing over fifteen feature length screenplays in various genres. Teaming up with the Nebraska based production company, General Films, Chad has recently completed his first feature length romantic-comedy entitled, PerfectMatch, which he wrote and directed. Now armed with passion, ability, and know-how, Chad Eddy is set to become one of the great writer/directors of a new generation.
